About Adam Lambert

Adam Mitchel Lambert (born January 29, 1982) is an Yankee singer-songwriter and stage actor. Born in Indianapolis however raised in San Diego, Lambert had dreamed of turning into a performer after showing in various amateur productions in his childhood and adolescence. His passion overtook him when deciding to drop out of college, pursue his career, and perform in varied skilled theatrical productions across the world. He has accrued various awards, received a 2011 Grammy nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance and had sold (as of January, 2011) 1.two million albums and 4.a pair of million singles worldwide. The Times identified Lambert as the first openly gay mainstream pop artist to launch a career on a major label in the United States,[8] while The LA Times ranked him fifth in their list of the prime a hundred and twenty Yank Idol contestants.
