Here I'll write the latest updates of Sheetor and I'll also give you tips for finding sheet music online. If you want to actively help Sheetor, stay tunned for I will write about that too. Thanks for visiting Sheetor.com!
Sheetor's new goal is to contain 10,000 sheets before the New Year. Even though this is a very ambitious goal, I am confident that it's totally possible. I need everyone's help. Request Sheet Music. I'll write about how you can legally upload sheet music later.
Uploading your sheets is simple, what's difficult is ensuring that whatever you're downloading is legal to upload. For example, most scores are copyrighted by whoever wrote them. There are ways to get around this, but I won't discuss them right now. What Sheetor.com is interested in is classical music. Uploading it is easy: Go to the Classical Music page and click on an author. First check whether the sheet music is already uploaded or not! If the author you want hasn't been added yet, recommend it first (at the bottom of the classical music page). Then click on his name, write the name of the tune you want to upload and you'll be taken to an upload form. Here simply upload it. The reason why Sheetor is not interested in copyrighted music is because of legal problems. However, a way to help us is by finding sheet music that is hosted in another website. Once you do, find the author and submit the URL in the same way I described above. It's all very simple, really.
Took me a while, but I'm quickly making this site #1. Send me an e-mail with any suggestions: joaquin@joaquin.cc. Good day!
I found some really nice books in another website:
High School Musical
Moulin Rouge
Christmas Favorites
I'll keep looking for more! Stay tunned, Sheetor will become the only legal #1 website for distributing sheet music.
